COVID Policy Update as of 11/16/2022:
Based on CDC guidelines and recommendations from IU Health and Environmental Safety, we have updated our COVID policy for the Summer 2023 season; however, please note that these policies could change in the event of future health-related emergencies.
At this time, there will no longer be a requirement to be vaccinated to attend camp. Additionally, we will not require guests to test prior to arriving at camp; however, we do encourage these preventative measures to help keep staff and other guests safe.
We do recommend guests monitor their symptoms and exposure prior to coming to camp to help ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff. If you are sick, please follow the isolation and masking guidelines outlined by the CDC. If you are sick and unable to attend camp, please notify our reservation specialist as soon as possible and we will navigate those cancellations on a case-by-case basis. For more information related to COVID, such as IU policy, CDC guidelines and recommendations for isolation and exposure, please see the links below.

Finally, we would like to thank our guests from last year for navigating the policies that were in place. As difficult and cumbersome as they were to deal with, they paid off. We were able to make it through the entire summer without any staff COVID cases, which allowed us to stay open with no additional impacts on programming.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Family camp guests who stayed at Camp Brosius during the previous summer have priority over that same accommodation during the same week until Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
For family camp, the minimum occupancy rate charge is $325 each (all the accommodations below have a minimum occupancy). For example, if you only have five people, but the minimum occupancy is seven, you will be charged an additional $650 to stay in these accommodations.
- Row's End and Kin Koop are seven-person minimum occupancy accommodations.
- Hickory is a six-person minimum occupancy accommodation.
- Rappaport, Kellum House, and Stecher are five-person minimum occupancy accommodations.
- The Cabent is a four-person minimum occupancy accommodation.
Early Arrival Policy Change
Family camp guests should not arrive to camp prior to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Saturday arrival is no longer an option. The previous policy is no longer in compliance with our risk management plan.
Golf Carts
For family camp guests who need a golf cart while at camp, the finalized rate will be set in the spring. Rates are approximately $150 for the week. Please let us know at least 60 days in advance if this is something you would like to have while at camp, as we need to plan for adequate inventory.
Check In
Family camp guests should arrive between 1:00–4:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoons (Wisconsin is on central daylight time). A buffet dinner will be held from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. (on Sunday) followed by Guest Orientation and Opening Campfire. If you are late and notify the Camp Director or office manager before 4:00 p.m., the chef will reserve meals for you.
Check Out
Family camp guests must be checked out by 10:00 a.m. on Saturday mornings. A continental breakfast will be served from 7:30–9:30 a.m.
