Our chef prepares hot buffet-style meals daily and will assist guests with special needs (please indicate any special dietary concerns when you register).
Breakfast always includes yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals, breads, pastries, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, and hot items such as pancakes, sausage, bacon, and biscuits and gravy. Milk, juices, and coffee are available daily.
Lunches and dinners (with the exception of adult dinner/kiddie cookout) feature a full salad bar, cold and hot vegetable choices, meats, and desserts. Ice cream is provided daily during lunches, and beverage choices include tea, lemonade, water, and fruit punch.
Meal Times
For family camp, Sunday dinner is served at 5:00 p.m. If your travel is delayed for some reason, you may contact the camp office to make them aware of your late arrival. Dinner plates will be set aside for you.
Saturday morning continental breakfast is provided from 7:30-9:30 a.m.
Coffee and pastries will be available for carry out in the mornings prior to breakfast. You can arrange for a daily newspaper to be reserved for you, as well.
All other meals are served as follows (weekend-only events have different meal schedules):
- Breakfast 8:00-9:00 a.m.
- Lunch 12:00-1:00 p.m.
- Dinner 6:00-7:00 p.m. (appetizers served at 5:30 p.m. on Fridays)
Alcohol and Soda
A few meals and events include alcohol and sodas. Those include:
- Tuesday evening adult-only dinner (wine service)
- Wednesday afternoon horseshoe and cornhole tournament (beer and soda)
- Friday evening theme party (beer and soda)
- You may bring soda, alcohol, and other beverages to camp at your own expense, keeping in mind the property is university-owned and promotes a family atmosphere.
Ice
Bags of ice are available for free and are located outside the building adjacent to the dining hall and on the porch of Rath Hall. If you are staying in an accommodation that does not have a refrigerator, you are welcome to bring your own coolers and use the ice provided.
