Within the property map and website, several other buildings and spaces are described.
We would like to help you better visualize the different areas and options for fun that you will have while on your vacation.
Do you feel like the terrain might be a bit overwhelming for some members of your party? Not to worry! Just reserve a golf cart for your party when you make your reservation.
Lights, cameras, action! Alumni Hall hosts the Brosius talent show, movie nights, and other group activities. If opening orientation is rained out, it will occur in this building.
Crafts on one end, nursery on the other. This building has a multi-purpose area that is used for group activities. On the building's east side is the nursery, complete with air conditioning to keep little ones comfortable.
Ready to buy your Brosius swag? Forgot your insect repellent? Need to pay your tab for your son or daughter's purchases through the week? Efroymson Hall is the place to take care of this.
Mail services, internet access, and registration are available, as is a guest lounge.
Kids running around, you've been chasing them, and it's time for you to rest on the lake but you are out of air to blow up your floatie! Come to the garage area, and the maintenance staff or camp director can help you.
Horseshoe and Cornhole Tournament Areas
Have that competitive edge? Participate in one of these two tournaments, staged across from the camp office and garage.
Tennis or Basketball
Time for a doubles match! Don't forget to pack your tennis racquet and balls. The combined tennis and basketball court are located by the cabins between Hickory and the garage.
Field Games and Volleyball
If your children's schedule says field games, you can likely find them in the area just north of Steichman and Alumni, near the playground. Volleyball nets are put up here weekly for adult program options.
Renovated in 2013, the playground features an endless amount of sand for building castles, swings, slides, climbing rocks and cave, and a multipurpose playground structure for children ages 2-12.
Archery and Challenge Course
Spend time at target practice or help your mate successfully traverse the up-and-over wall.
These features are located just inside the Camp Brosius entrance.
Swim Tees and Waterfront
Situated just behind the annex are the swim tees. If your child's schedule says swimming, you will want to check here first. It's also home to the weekly water carnival. Just a bit south of the swim tees is the waterfront area, typically flanked by bright-colored sunfish sailboats. Your stay includes use of all canoes, kayaks, pedal boats, paddle boards, and sailboats. Don your life jacket from the nearby shed and hit the water! Lifeguards are on duty daily between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. During other times, you may still use the equipment at your own risk.
It's easy to work up an appetite at Camp Brosius, and our chef has something for everyone. The buffet line is located on the east end of the building. You can choose to eat inside or outside. Our wait staff will still be glad to help clear your plates, refill your beverages, and bring you dessert.
Inside the Sputh Round House you will find a DVD player, TV, and fireplace. It's a great spot for families to gather and play games or for individuals to read. Morning coffee is served here at 7:00 a.m. You can also ask for newspaper delivery to the Round House.
Camp is conveniently situated next to the Elkhart Lake public boat ramp. You can put your boat in and dock it at camp for free during your stay.
